To make our “Highland” we begin by carefully selecting and handpicking the finest Shiraz grapes from our ideally situated Heathcote vineyard. Before bottling, it is aged french oak for 18 months.
This Shiraz Cabernet Franc brings a delightfuly smooth palate of black and red cherry, plum and fig, underpinned by roasted sweet peppers. Finishing with subtle notes of violet, clove and leather.
Drinking well now, this premium blend is also ideal to cellar for 5-10+ years.

$40.00 Add to cartOur 2021 “Epplock” Shiraz is a deeply fragrant wine, with aromas of tarragon, peppercorn and violet on the nose. The palate is voluptous, with jammy pommegranite, blackcurrant and fig. Notes of freshly crushed mint and vanilla bring balance to the fruit-driven palate.
A lashing of ripe, fine grained tannins finishes off our “Eppalock” Shiraz, an exceptional representation of Heathcote’s most popular varietal that can be enjoyed with dinner, or savoured on it’s own.
